Creating Tags

Membership levels in InfusionWP are set by assigning tags to contacts. Each membership level requires two tags.

The first tag corresponds to the membership level itself, such as “Gold”.

The second tag would the same tag name with the suffix “PAYF” appended, such as “GoldPAYF”. The tag with the “PAYF” suffix should be automatically assigned to a contact whenever a failed payment issue arises. The infusionWP plugin will then block a subscriber’s access to content.

Please note that the “PAYF” suffix will only block access to protected content. If you wish to prevent a subscriber who is behind in his/her payments from logging in, you must assign his/her contact record the tag “I4WNOLOGIN”.

By simply controlling the tags with order forms, one can easily assign a user to a membership level and/or suspend him/her on payment failure.

The following video walks you through the simple process of creating tags in Infusionsoft. Further down on this page, you can also see screenshots to go through it at a more leisurely pace.
