Install
WordPress:
- Install and configure WordPress normally
- Download your individualized plugin from our download server.
- Login to your WordPress site as an Administrator.
- Click ‘Plugins‘, followed by a click on ‘Add New‘.
- Click on the ‘Browse‘ button and select the infusion4wp.zip file from your local hard drive.
- Click on ‘Install Now‘
- Once the upload and installation have completed, click ‘Activate Plugin‘
- Select InfusionWP on the bottom left hand side of the WP Admin menu.
- Enter your Infusionsoft application name. Example: if your app name is xyz.infusionsoft.com, enter xyz
- Enter your Infusionsoft API Key.
- Enter the plugin license key
- Click ‘Save changes‘
Infusionsoft:
- Log into InfusionSoft – create 2 tags for each membership level you plan to offer, such as ‘Gold‘ and ‘GoldPAYF‘. The second tag should be identical to the first with the letters P-A-Y-F appended (to be used when a payment has failed).
- Create a custom field for the password – i4wpassword
WordPress:
- Go back to infusionWP settings in WordPress – select the tags and set up your membership levels
- Edit a post and select a permission level for it
- Your users can now log in with the email address as the user name and password you set in i4wpassword
