I do something similar to what you are doing with your dashboard, only I don't hide the page if people aren't members or aren't logged in.  I put a message that they need to be logged in to access their 'owned' content.  But then I display buttons so they can 'purchase' if they aren't owners.

By doing that, I can advertise all my products in one place, and all my customers see all my products every time they access their own.  You can see an example of what I am talking about here: http://job-search-success-secrets.com/blog/dashboard

Just recently I added a 'Click2Buy' feature which is a 'one-click' upsell for every product on my site.  So if someone has purchased one time, they will now see an 'Add to Cart' button and a 'Click2Buy' button for each product that they don't yet own.

I made a dashboard page where my customers are redirected to when they log in. The idea is that on this page they'll have an overview of, and links to the active products and memberships. Please let me know whether you think I made efficient use of shortcodes. If I missed some shortcodes, or if I could do it in a better way, I'd like to hear.

BTW. I did not yet include a link to a profile page where customers can update their contact details, credit card details and affiliate info. I plan to do that later.
