Hi,

While you can run an actionset [i4w_runas] from within WordPress and infusionWP, you can't create one.

To update custom fields, you would need to have an actionset already set with the desired values in Infusionsoft and, from within infusionWP, just run it.

I don't think this would be as dynamic as you would really need it.

You do have the option, however, of creating straight PHP code and running it as a so-called page template in WordPress. You can use infusionWP as your gateway to your Infusionsoft.

Changing the custom field value would then be a matter of selecting the desired contact Id (based on tags, for example) and then, in a loop, changing the values. It sounds more complicated than it really is, especially since the plugin is loaded and can take care of most of the API formalities for you.

Hi,

New user… so thanks for the patience! I have multiple clients that store their contacts in my Infusionsoft database–each contact has a tag that associates that customer with the particular client. I have also created custom fields for each contact that each client changes each month.

Right now, what I do is run a people search based on the tag and then run an actionset on the search results to change the value of the custom field. Obviously I want that function automated!

What I want is for each client to be able to log in and see a list of their contacts and change the value of the custom field for only their clients…

So far I've figured out that I can use the disp_get to get a list of that client's records and display them (right???). I can use tagset to display and change tags. I can also create a shortcode for my custom field… But how do I run an actionset to change the value of the custom fields on the disp_get output???
