“InfusionSoft for WordPress” – or “infusionWP” in its short form – is a Wordpress plugin that will turn a normal Wordpress site into a full featured membership site, with all the imaginable protection controls at your disposal, yet drawing its data from your Infusionsoft application.

Using the Infusionsoft API, this plugin is able to put your site on auto-pilot, pulling the needed membership data from your Infusionsoft application, to include membership levels, payment status, password, subscriber data, etc.

As such, administrative and financial control over the membership is exercised through Infusionsoft and Wordpress does what it does best, manage the content.

The entire process, using Infusionsoft order forms, actions and action sets, triggers, etc, leads to a trouble-free operation, requiring little or no intervention on your part. No other plugin comes close in terms of integration features.

InfusionWP uses automated features available in Infusionsoft to manage and control access to content in a subscription-based Wordpress site. There are a number of membership plugins available “out there” but none that deal with membership controls specifically with InfusionSoft.

[Note: In the meantime, a few other similar plugins have now surfaced. While they are similar in intent, they invariably fall short in the features department.]

When we set out to develop this plugin, it quickly became clear that a simple, run-of-the-mill plugin with a basic user synchronization between Infusionsoft and Wordpress was not the only feature needed. As such, the plugin has been constantly upgraded to provide additional content management features – some of them unique in the world of Wordpress, such as conditional shortcodes or user-defined defined shortcodes which require no programming on your part.
